An Update from GOT Interface on COVID-19
GOT Interface announced that its business operations will continue while the company complies with the recent mandate for a dramatic reduction in the limit of on-premise attendance. Product shipments will continue through a compliant shipping and distribution operation.
In response to the rapid spread of COVID-19 and the potential protocol for its eradication, GOT Interface will close its corporate headquarters on March 16, 2020, at 7:00 PM ET. Employees will continue their work with provisioned, secure computers, and devices. This action follows Sunday’s directive published by Charlie Baker, Governor of the State of Massachusetts, where our corporate headquarters is located, to limit the number of persons gathered “on-premise” to 25. It is also in harmony with the direction found on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“GOT Interface will continue to help customers stay ahead of the current dynamic situation with timely communication and a dedicated work ethic,” promised Dan Skiba, CEO, and President. “We remain committed to exceeding our customers’ expectations in terms of product delivery, project design, and project management. We are concerned for the health and safety of our employees and their families as well as those of our customers. We will do everything in our power to reduce the business impact of COVID-19 to customers who depend on us.”
GOT employees are accustomed to high-performance remote work. During the severe winter 2019 blizzard, the company and its employees continued work though unable to travel to the main office. Earlier than that key staff made sure one customer received additional inventory during a hurricane that disrupted the standard shipping network.
Warehouse receiving and distribution in California continues at this time. The State of California has not imposed restrictions that would affect employee activity. Freight companies continue to deliver and receive shipments.
